Mestdagh leads all scorers with 12 points

DENVER – At halftime here in Magness Arena, the Denver Pioneers women’s basketball team leads Colorado State 30-28.

The Rams started the game off hot, taking an early 8-0 lead with all points being scored by sophomore guard Kim Mestdagh, but Denver was quick to answer as they swiftly tied the game at 10. From there it has been a close affair and the Pioneers finished the half on a 6-0 run.

Mestdagh leads all scorers with 12 points. She sat the final 10 minutes of the first half with two fouls. Brittany Rice leads Denver with 8 points.
